President and Treasurer of the Johann Strauss Foundation, Karin Fodor, awarded a service medal from the President of Austria!

We are delighted to share that Karin Fodor, President and Treasurer of the Johann Strauss Foundation, was awarded a service medal from the President of Austria, presented by the Austrian Ambassador to Canada, H.E. Andreas Rendl, during a special dinner ceremony here in Edmonton. This honour recognizes her remarkable thirty years of dedicated service to the Johann Strauss Foundation.

Also in attendance were Nick Demiantshuk from the Austrian Consulate in Calgary and former Wirth Institute for Austrian and Central European Studies Director Joseph F. Patrouch who delivered a heartfelt laudatio.
